Only your's Archaix, only your's. What's so annoying about an American accent anyway? I think those kooks from New York and the south are funny. And don't even get me started on your British accent, gov'nuh. Yeah, because I have a cockney accent, don't I? There's nothing to get defensive about, anyway. I don't hate anyone American on this board. That's the benefit of reading your thoughts, rather than hearing them.

That's a mix of received pronunciation and cockney, and no, I don't have that either.
Where I live it's common to greet people by saying, "Ah rate?" and saying such nonsensical things as "Ay up. Tha' should see's tha mutha, na'. It's lak a rhinoceros 'as et a car*." It's not a particularly beautiful accent, but it's brilliant for insulting people because whatever you say sounds 10% worse.
* "Alright? You should see your mother, now. It's like a rhinoceros has eaten a car."

I yell when I type and shout whatever I read on the computer screen involuntarily.

Actually, I heard an American couple today remarking on the architecture of St. Helen's and wasn't irritated. So it's definitely not American accents in general.

Not trying to be a racist or anything, but I laugh at black people with British accents.
I look at them, they open their mouth, and I expect to hear something I'm used to, but instead get something completely different. It's like, "what the hell, why are you talking like that? Go back to your normal voice... that accent is sooo not you."

I heard a Dutch guy on TV yesterday speak Dutch with a slight American accent. Reminded me for some crazy reason of Ronald Reagan. And of Texas accents

Unfortunately the Dutch accent has been ridiculed here, Kardas. A show called, 'The Harry Enfield Show' ran a sketch about two gay Dutch police officers: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO7Lfgz2vxE

It's now common to say, in a Dutch accent, 'He isht me partner and alsho my lover'. So, bear that in mind when visiting the UK.

Do you watch Trigger Happy TV? It's a funny British "Jackass."
One of the main actors on there has a character he does... I think it's a very dutch tourist, who's visiting the UK, has a giant tourist hat with the British flag, and a tourist dictionary in his hand. To unsuspecting old men and women, he tries to get help via the verses from his book like any tourist would... but these verses are very obscure.
[dutch accent] Hallo. Wood jew like eh.. wood jew like eh to pet my donkey? What? Uh... ish the... ish the clock tower on fire? I'm sorry, I can't help you. No, no no - tell me pleash, pleash can jew help tell me how to get jiggy? Pleash.

I think they stopped making that series because he became so well known over here. The last time I saw him on TV he was in Russia on some visit. Every time a Russian spoke there were fake subtitles at the bottom, like 'I'm going to dope him and call the secret police'. He was convinced throughout that this old woman translating for him along the way was a KGB spy.

Yeah, the most recent ones I've seen didn't have the guy, nor were they shot in the UK. I think they went to the US last and had two main american characters - a black guy and white girl.

Do you mean the Jerry Seinfield show? Mang, I loves me that show! I was angry when they announced that they were going to stop making episodes of it. Now all poor Jerry's got is the "Bee Movie". It looks terribly, terribly, indescribably lame. TO THE MAX!!
