So, i'm going to buy a laptop. I'm not a rich guy, so i'm going to buy a used one. Can you suggest something? Any experiences with the dell d600?

No experiences with that, but you can get a new dell notebook for as low as $380 I think. Most are no cheaper than $500.

Used one? If the person didn't reformat their drive or whatever and wipe it totally clear and make it clear DO THAT. Then go two a safe download site and get some free or trial anti-virus and spyware software to make sure the previous user wasn't a porn addict and got all these viruses.

Guys, my grandma in oregon bought a new pc values at over 8 k with over 1 k in pc video games for 10 bucks cause some old guy needed 10 bucks for a bus trip he needed to do. its been killing me since she uses it to keep her books standing on the shelf.
