News from the CIW
Aegypto
Several refineries are being built; the country is also looking at taking the section inbetween the Onewa and Archaot reigons.
As for the investigation; little progress yet, as no Aegyptans have been found to be inquired.

Ehlek Isle Floods
President Vayzon thanks Northern Australis for pledging aid. We give clearance to thier aid operation. The death toll has stabilized at 62,234. About 600 survivors have been found in the city of Voya and currently 500 in the countryside. Damage to the pristine environment of Ehlek Isle is still a problem. The relief effort has gained good momentum thanks to Silvado and Northern Australis aid. Vayzon also spoke of thanking the countries somehow once its over.

Criminals
The CIW acknowledges the responsibility to detain Renwick. He will be detained in a high-security prison on the Isle of Yeu, some kilometers of Ehlek Isle. A trial will begin in after a week of detainment.

Teivostan
The CIW wishes to remind Teivostan that it has no businesses in the country for several reasons:
- Foreign policy has never been great with the country
- Businesses were reluctant to expand there as the communist government gives poor business opportunity
- The CIW government openly discouraged businesses going to Teivostan.

OOC: Ah, ok Northern Australis. I haven't been here the past week and it's kinda hard to tell what's going on after being away for so long I'll edit my previous post.

Aegypto

Teivost soldiers have secured the land of Northern Aegypto, any other nations who move into this land will be dealt with severely. Teivost troops are moving southward.
TNO has moved into the Northern part of the Mesa Desert and has begun to build oil rigs.

CIW

Comrade van Dam still feels that it would still give too much power and influence to the CIW.

CIW policy
In response to international criticism, Vayzon has scaled back the 'Trade Policy'. Overall foreign relations improvement will still be looked for, but the trading aspect will accordingly be scaled to the wishes of partner nations.

Aegypto
The CIW has taken the southwest of the nation. the CIW section does not reach as far inland, but the large perimeter of the section makes up for that. Industries are currently pinpointing oil locations.

-Comrade van Dam is glad the CIW has no business in Teivostan and hopes that it will stay that way. This way the CIW will have no influence over the people of Teivostan.
-Comrade van Dam is dissapointed to hear about the large amount of deaths due to floods. Teivostan is offering aid and rescue helicopters to help to prevent more deaths.

Prime Minister Thomas is asking for the Automaticz leader to step down saying, "For days our in boxes, both email and paper mail have been flooded with angry letters. Step down now, you know my ace in the hole my King, but you don't know how to stop it."

The people of Kazzerland wanted capitalism, it was us who forced communism on the restricting their rights and freedom. Teivostan is a Socialist nation, giving another nation a government different from ours but what they desire is true liberating. In your last communication there was something WORSE than an insult. The true logic is what a true communist should understand, the revolution is liberation! Automaticz
The news of what Teivo has done and said resently, including the contreversial statue issue has been released to the Automaticz public, a massive protest has begun in the capital and many other large protests are begining in all major cities. Automaticz citizens near the Teivostian border have been seen by helicopter to be traveling to the actual border in their masses. Pictures of the King and eternal leader have been put up everywhere and cars can't get through the mass of protesters, this is not a real problem however as most people are out protesting. For a people who are deadly patriotic, extreemly communist and almost impossibly loyal to their nation and this cause, this is indeed a massive event.

Ah, but there was never a revolution in Kazzerland. How can the people gaurd something they never had? True liberation is giving the people what they want and the people of Kazzerland wanted a capitalist nation.

National News

Barriers have been placed where the Automaticz citizens are protesting. They will not be allowed to cross the border, Teivostan is extremely stirct with border control and any protesters crossing the border will be shot on sight. Armoured vehichles have been positioned in case our troops are over-run. The airforce is on full alert should the situation get out of control. Should a large enough amount of Automaticz citizens cross the border un-authorized it will be seen as an act of war.
We will defend Teivostan and Socialism to the end and never give in just as the King has said to be right.

OOC: Can Nations involved with the former Aegypto PM locations they have taken? I'll add it to the map.

IC:

The SNOC leader, Jim Yetzew, has announced that they have taken to oil moderately sized oil deposits in South Eastern Mesa Desert, Former Aegypto. The Silvadian Government will make no move toward any more deposits. An airfield has been built in that area, and will act as a 'forward observation post' for the Airforce.

CIW:

Quinn Montego is glad that Silvado has been helpful and asks if the four refugee camps built will be sufficient enough for the crisis. The Silvadian Airforce will provide transportation from the flooded region to the Silvadian camps.

Teivo-Auto Tensions:

S.A.F Command reports that troops are being prepared for possible conflict. The Silvadian officials offer military assistance to Teivo when needed.

"Comrade van Dam has our wings and special forces should he ever need them." Quinn Montego said earlier today, "Hopefully there will not be a conflict over a statue that was meant to honor the late king."

Prime Minister Thomas has sent over 20,000 men to help defend Teivostan borders.



Breaking News!

The land on mainland IN has broken off from the USSRG and has declared independance! Their ring leader, Thomas's oldest son Matthyus has said, "Automaticz is a model for us to follow, we will follow it, but I ask Automaticz doesn't intervene, we will prove that we shall survive!" The mainland has millions of citizens, and unfortuantly 75% of them support the revolution. They have taken weapon stores in the region and have armed themselves. Several key governmental systems were almost shut down by traitorous soldiers, but were caught, many soilders and officers defected, but not all of them survived... It is estimated 50,000 soldiers defected and 45,000 of them were killed while trying to steal some of the USSRG navy to get to the mainland...

Unfortuantly Prime Minister Thomas's "ace in the hole" has been leaked out by the revolutionaries...

They have announced it is a giant weapon, 50 feet high, 50 feet wide. It uses oil as fuel for its flamethrower, which can annihilate small villages without breaking a sweat. It is also a fortress where a squad of soldiers can hole up and use the gun holes... 25% of the Aegyptian oil reserves on the mainland has been destroyed, the high quality oil... the oil used to fuel the mighty machine's weapon... The machine was being assualted but it was used for the first time ever, it ahnilated the 5 humvees and 100 revolutionaries sent to capture it. The USSRG government is setting up defenses around the machine so that it doesn't fall into enemy hands... Officers are being killed if found to be in connection with the rebellion. Also, worst of all, Prime Minister Thomas will soon step down saying, "If I cannot suppress a simple rebellion like this, I cannot be a leader. I didn't have the insight to see this coming." Prime Minister Thomas is still debating resigning while the Ministers and many citizens are saying for him to stay in power...

The rebellion, who has been named the Communist Country of Con Primus (CCCP the Russian name for USSR) has taken much of the mainland.

USSRG

Teivostan is grateful for the offer of soldiers but must refuse, it seems that the USSRG has much more serious problems than Teivostan.
Comrade van Dam is having dificulty deciding on what action to take concerning the CCCP. The USSRG has been a good ally, offering military support but with a large majority of citizens on mainland USSRG wanting independence it is difficult to decide what to do. Should we help our ally or support what the people want? We will give you our decision at a soon but not now.

Silvan-Silvado

Teivostan thanks Silvado for the offer and will keep it in mind should a conflict arise although we certainly hope one won't.

OOC: by majority I meant citizens on the mainland itself. The majority of population is on the loyal island The population is 500 million, about 150 million is on the mainland.

Prime Minister Thomas has went to the government's bunker, safe from any intruders, he will rule the country from there, war time emergency powers has been granted to Prime Minister Thomas.

USSRG

Comrade van Dam has decided to offer military support.
Around 5,000 tanks/artillery vehichles are being loaded onto transport ships which will be escorted by Destroyers, Cruisers and a couple of aircraft carriers, they will all be shelling any coastal fortifications or cities if need be. The Teivost airforce is seeking permission to use USSRG airports as a re-fueling area.
70,000 soldiers are boarding transport planes and helicopters which will be escorted by fighter jets and a few bomber planes to clear CCCP airports for landing and unloading.
The naval flagship "The Crimson Tide" is offering Prime Minister Thomas an escort to Teivost shores to get out of danger if the situation escelates.

Automaticz

Comrade van Dam warns the King of Automaticz that if these protests turn violent Teivostan will blockade any Automaticz ships passing through the gap of water seperating the two lands of Teivostan which will cut off naval trade to Northern Australis

Ehlek Isle Floods
Rescue operations are well on their way. 1392 people have been rescued in the city of Voya, and about 897 in the countryside. The first package of Teivostan aid has been received, with cheers. Help from Silvado and Republicas Gloria have been invaluable to rescue efforts.

Auto-Teivo Split
Should conflict erupt, the CIW will remain strictly neutral. The CIW is not interested in the conflict.

CCCP/USSRG Crisis
The CIW overtly declares support for the USSRG, due to good relations with Prime Minister Thomas. General Grevious has just left to meet with the Prime Minister. The CIW is ready to assist militarily.

National News

-Elections are underway, the first in a long time (The candidates are listed in Teivostan's stat's thread). Alexander Gorbachev of the United Socialist Party of Teivostan/USPT is the favorite to win, it always is.
-The "Olympikz", a national sporting event held every four years where only the best athletes in various sports compete against one another is being held in Peking this friday. Huge preperations are being made for the event and tickets for seats have been sold out. Comrade van Dam will be present at the opening ceremony, which will be his last major event as leader of the United Socialist People of Teivostan.
