I also need to know who was in the May 2008 cabinet. I KNOW I was Head Delegate at the time of the coup. Who were the other gov't officials?

I was Head of Recruitment during the same election you were elected as Head Delegate Kardas. I have no idea who was Head of Recruitment during February though.

Yea, also I think 'Head of recruitment' was a fairly new title, I don't think we've had it too long, but again i'm unsure.

Head of Recruitment never was an elected government post. Like High Judge, a new Head of Recruitment only came when the previous one was inactive or something.

The History of International Nations-Second Draft[/u]
Founding
Founder: Automaticz
Co-Founder: Alida & Siren
IN's foundations were made when the region's original Founder, Automaticz sent a TG to the nation of Alida&Siren, who had then also just Founded a region, asking her to join IN and become co-Founder, which she agreed to. Automaticz became the Founder, while Alida&Siren was the co-Founder and she was the first immigrant to IN. The nation of Debro arrived when there were only 6-7 people. The nation of Deutschgarten came in this time too, who gained fame by calling the region a "sausage fest".
Automaticz then tried to make a forum, but failed. Neo Nibu, the nation of the NationStates veteran Nibu, helped in writing the constitution. Nibu also created the IN forum. Nibu believed he could be a better Founder, in turn asking for more power. Nibu's suggestion was turned down.

During the first election of IN, the region suffered from a multi-account scandal of the nations ILMT, godthesonni and uwfrat. These nations were later linked to the nation of Satanic Warfare, and all nations were banned from the region. Due to misuse of voting by the multi-account, voting had to be redone.
The nation of Independant Warlords, later the main nation of Kardas, was recruited to a region of about 50 nations.
The COIN was founded in April. Archaix, a member of IN's longtime leftist ally, the Communist Socialist Alliance, the CSA, arrived in this period as well.

The summer was the Golden Age of International Nations- there was a massive spike in RPG activity, caused in part by the arrival of fanatic RPGer Primus Orios. At this time, the first and legendary work of fiction of IN was posted: Penguin Ninjas- a joint work of several members.
Forum reforms took place with a focus on the off-topic talk and "culture". IN's first and only newspaper, the COIN-owned Monthly Leftist Newspaper, was also created by Debro. The population of IN was nearly in the 100s in that time.
September 2007 IN Cabinet

*Kaleckton left soon after the elections, leaving the position VACANT.
September was marked by the arrival of a lot of members who have made important contributions to the region: Kaleckton, Teivostan, Casinecro, IronWolves and Kazzerland. Led Zeppelin, Founder of the CSA also regularly visited the forums. With RPG chief Silvado inactive, Kaleckton made expansive reforms to the RPG section including updated rules, RP shops (defunct), OOC RPG, a Treaty/Alliance board, National Stats board and a Regional Map board. The New World idea was also started by Kaleckton (unsure). At this time Nibu also created a conservative political party- the Neo-Conservative Association, a less active rival of COIN. Members were Nibu and Kaleckton.
The Military of IN was also extremely active during this period: starting with operations in Green Anarchy, liberating the region from the Alliance of Dictators, the failed liberation of the Anarcho-Communist Federation from Aero City and a poorly organized attack on the Aero City puppet region Corrigador. Negotiations were done with Aero City in the aftermath of the attack. Spying has also been conducted in Corporate Conservative and Aero City.
The region did suffer from major multi-account problems: it was believed that: 1- Archaix and Led-Zeppelin; 2- Kardas and Spartan117; 3- Kazzerland, Krayfish, Casinecro and IronWolves and 4- Teivostan and Fascist Leaders (and puppets) were the same. All except for the last one were proven false.
Fascist Leaders had been, for a while, a minor threat to the region, bringing it in contact with notorious raider regions. When it was discovered in october that respected member Teivostan and Fascist Leaders were the same, it caused a major upheaval in the region. Teivostan was banned from the region and left for Aero City, but tried to spy on IN some more using other multi-accounts. Teivostan was on the side of Aero City during the ACF conflict to the Corrigador attack. He also infuriated the region with the creation of the upstart region New International Nations.
Teivostan remained with Aero City to the end of 2007 (possibly inaccurate). Teivostan later said he joined Aero City because he was bored of IN.
Kaleckton left the region after Nibu and Primus Orios disagreed on whether the regional forums had been hacked and Kaleckton had saved them. Several CSA members also regulary visited the forums for reasons including the popular game Wolfhunt.
There were also worries in the region about the inactivity of the Founder, Automaticz becomes inactive. When it became clear Automaticz was truly inactive, a massive exodus was organized to the new region The International Nations, which was to be joint-founded by Nibu, Debro, Deutschgarten and later Kardas. Moving was speeded up when the region became the Featured Region on October 31, which worried some that raiders would attack at that time. Luckily the moving went smoothly, and Debro later securely refounded International Nations with a puppet.
November 2007 IN Cabinet

A period of relative inactivity. Teivostan at this time turned against Aero City and leaked important info to IN. Teivostan was banned from the region and asked for amnesty. This was turned down. Teivostan briefly went to several leftist regions and New Sorvun before asking for amnesty once more and being accepted back in February. Archaix also posted the popular story SPACE MICE before the year's end.

IN was relatively inactive over the summer other than an attempted coup d'etat by Neo Nibu. Nibu wished to be made King to gain more power and to combat the region's problems. After lengthy resistance, In returned to a democracy and banned members were allowed back.

This is simply bs, I may have said i'd make a better founder, but their was no 'proposal' so don't give me this bias history bullshit.
Also in the founding section you should include me writing the constitution. And I know at some point I was Head of Senate, I remember because Debro was the Head Delegate when I was HoS. And i've always held some government position.

I would of said the failed beginning of your power fase. You said you would make a much better founder and wanted support so you could become founder. Nibu your proposal was serious enough for me to take it very seriously, i can't remember the poll but i remember you defending how you would make a better founder and pushing for it. You are good at what you do, you are good at helping run regions but what i hate is how you got into this position. Ever since you wanted to be founder i didn't trust you but everyone else didn't pay attention to what i was saying, i kept with it for a long time and hey you attempt a coup! The only reason you are king is because you attempted a coup, if you didn't no one would of even considered a sun king or a king or whatever, the way i see it is that people realised how dificult you can be with all your existing power so "comprimised" the comprimise was giving you what you wanted without the "Sun" and a few major and minor alterations, thus going against the core princibles of IN, Teivo got booted from the region for spying, you attempted a coup and got given more power! No sense in that. |
