The Rock written by Edmund Chromer
Prolouge
Some say that Randy"The Rock"Tillman was only a legend. Some say that he was only a peasant who did nothing. But in truth, he was a rebel. A hero. One of the many who hated the Communist government of Owtopia at the time, one of the few who did something about it. He started out being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ended up leading the revolution that restored Owen XXIII to the office. He was an Owtopian patriot and a true hero. He loved his country, not it's government. He saved us from communism and for that we honor him.

Chapter1 "The Wrong Place at the Wrong Time"
Randolph Tillman grew up like most others of the time, poor farmers and herders who worked on collective farms for the communists. His family had done this ever since ever since the communists party staged a coup that overthrew the government of Dictator Owen XXIII.
One Day, Randy was doing his usual chores. He heard a noise. Some street boys were being attacked by men of the local garrison for stealing a loaf of bread from a soldier and right before his eyes, they were shot. Almost immediately, a mob formed and stoned the soldiers. Many civilians were mowed down. In a matter of hours, all the men in the village were rounded up and shot. The children and women were tken as slaves. He was seperated from his surviving family and sent to work at a weapons factory.
At the factory, the treatment was horiffic. They were beaten and starved. After three weeks, some of the children rioted. Though he was not one of them, Randy was still shot at by the guards. All the survivors were sent to a prison camp. Soon after they arrived, some of the older inmates broke out. They took many children, among them Randy, with them. This was the beginning of a new life for Randy.

Chapter Two "Revolution"
The fugitives made Randy leader and he led them in an escape from the government forces. After so much running, Randy decided it was time to strike back. He and his followers attacked Communist military forces. They caused great damage to the enemy.
The rebels grew with each victory. The government commissioned an army of loyalist to assist the army. The commies were fed up. Unfortunately, the commies discovered the main rebel HQ. It was destroyed. Randy was in the field at the time, but his best friend and oldest follower was killed. Randy swore complete and utter revenge!
Randy gathered his forces and prepared to stike against the capital, Mafdas, which used to be called Owtoplis before the communists took control. He would have revenge.

Chapter Three "The Rock is Born"
He gathered up all his forces and occupied the port town of Kfafus near the capital. The next day, he marched his army to the fields outside the capital. The communist army, who outnumbered them ten to one, marched out to meet them in battle.
The rebels were hit full force by the communist onslaught. They were beginning to fall back when Randy climbed up on a boulder and began rallying his men. His famous words were "I have lived under this tyranny long enough! I have lost everything to them, just as you have. I cannot promise you victory, but I can ptomise you that if we die, we will die for a cause worth fighting for! Long live Owtopia!"
With that, he rushed off into the enemy. Every single one of his men charged with him. As the sun rose, the commies were falling back in a route. The victorious rebels marched into Mafdas, removed the communists and restored Owen IV to the thrown. The capital was renamed Owtopolis.
They had at last won. But during the charge, Randy was shot several dozen times until, finally, he died. His last words were "Long... Live... OWTOPIA!" With that said, he died.

Chapter 4 "They Died so we could live!"
After the battle, all communists were rounded up and exiled. Dictator Owen restored order to the land. Randy was given the nickname "The Rock" and a full heroes burial. A memorila stands at the rock where he rallied his men. One of his officers, Charlie Hemoglobin wrote a song to honer the rebels in the fight.
"As the brave came marching, so to did the enemy; And though we were outmatched; We held our ground, we beat them back; And as the sun rose, the battle we had won!
Owtopia! Owtopia! We honor your fallen heroes! Owtopia! Owtopia! They died so we could live!"
This song was later made the national anthem.

Epilouge
There have been many heroes. Randy and his comrades were some of them. Heroes can be age, race, gender, or social class. Randy was a peasent and Owen I was a ruler. But anyone who lived through their heroic actions will tell you that the heroes are the ones who died being heroes and those who were not known but died for a cause. All I know is that heroes are needed in life. We have needed heroes in the past and we always will.
