If you're reading this, you're probably new to the region and I hope this "guide" will help you in getting familiar with our forum. First, make sure to include your nation's name in your signature, to make the work of our administrator easier. If you've recently joined us, and you're a member of e province, please include the name of your region too! To receive the private sub-board for your region, contact the administrator and request the board here
General chat, fun, games.
This region is a small community. You'll find out, that NationStates matters are only a small part of this forum. All conversations are welcomed(like Archaix' collage notes, or which beer is the best). Mostly, you will find these threads on the General Board but we aren't too strict with the subjects, you'll find general chat in almost all threads, look around!
We are more than happy when we can play forum games, like the Word association, the "Dog", the Quote Madness and more. You will find these in the Game Room
Regional Politics
International Nations is a democratic region, and we always welcome new, motivated members who want to contribute to the prosperity of the region. We hold general elections on every other months, all members of the region and the members of the provinces can run for an office.
Regional matters are discussed in the International Nations Senate. Make sure to check out our Constitution, and our Second Law which is controlling the order of the elections.
We are always trying to make our system as democratic as possible, if you find something undemocratic, do not hesitate to push for an amendment!
When the elections are underway, you can read the candidate's manifestos in the International Nations Election Campaigning Chamber.
If you would participate in the recruitment efforts, check out the Department of Recruitment
Real life politics
Our forum is a good place to explain your political views, or to debate others. You'll find interesting threads here.
You can join the C.O.I.N., which is our leftist political organization here. You can read the our leftist newspaper, the Monthly Leftist to find out what's going on in the region.
Are you not a left-leaner, but still want to be in a political organization? No problem, you can found one! This is a politically mixed region, so you'll surely find somebody with similar views!
You feel you're Neo-Conservative? Then be sure to check out the board of the Neo Conservative Association
Role Playing
The region has a strong RPG, make sure to check it out, but read the rules before!
You'll find a lot of interesting threads on the RPG Board, look around! You can join RPG alliances, like the New Alliance(founded by Automaticz) or the United People(founded by Primus Orios).
The RPG system of the region was reworked by Kaleckton recently, feel free to post questions on the RPG help board, or send a private message to Kaleckton.
Stories and Publications
You can find the famous pulp fiction, the Penguin Ninjas on the Culture board. This is the only completed story this time, but check the board regularly, more will come! Please contribute to the stories!
