Secruity these days has gone crazy. Whether or not its worth all the trouble now, I don't really want to find out. As for gun control it should be strict, but still let people have guns. So shotguns, .22 rifles, and other hunting weapons, but no high caliber stuff or automatic. No one needs an AK-47 in their house.

I think only some police and the millitary should be the only people that are allowed guns, it is illegal to kill someone (duh) so why give someone a gun? You can protect yourselfs in other ways insted of just shooting them.

i will just sit here and nod and pretend i know all the different types of gun the only important thing: shotguns, .22s are able to kill just like the Avtomat Klashnyikova '47, on a slower rate. side note: it is strange that everybody use the AK47 term for the gun...in fact, nobody use it nowadays. They use the AK 74. It has smaller calibre and better accuracy. 5mm, like the m16. Hm, i will make a poll bout assault rifles ;D

i will just sit here and nod and pretend i know all the different types of gun Sounds like a plan unless you want some of us to bore you with information you probably don't want to know. Anyway, I used to go to shooting ranges and fire some .22 and 12 guage shot guns. I think to obtain a fire arm you must have a clean record and guns should only be bought and kept at shooting ranges/gun clubs.

It will be must harder to shoot someone with a gun if they are banned, why do you wan't one if your not going to shoot someone with it, for shooting ranges you can use air guns.

Because it's an old tradition, like hunting. I think a lot of hunters would be outraged if they couldn't own their ritfles.

It is 2007, hunting is cruel i mean how is it fun killing a poor little animal, it you kill a mother animal then the baby animal will probly die and if you kill a baby animal, well thats just sad and even if it is not a mother or a baby you are still killing a animal for fun, how is it fun??? I dont understand

I agree with Automaticz, to a less emotional extent. Hunting is the sport of the upper-classes, anyway (in Britain, not America).

I know, why do people hunt anyway it can't be fun and if it is a paintball game or a shooting range could be just as fun if not more without the deaths!

Well I think hunting is just part of human nature. The 2nd amendment(right to bear arms) is out dated, It was more for when Britain was a threat, and native American attacks, ect.
