Well I was wondering if we should have a Sports Thread. You know make your own national team, play eachother by like Telegraming Eachother or Posting. We should have like an IN National Cup or something like that. Wouldn't that be cool?

There's always the trusty dice to decide things...and other factors would make certain teams more likely to win on the dice like experience and preparation. I suppose this is do-able and we could figure something out. Unfortunately, I am unable to create boards, so someone will have to propose this to one of the Admins. Create a sub-board called "Sports Role-Play" or some such. Overall, I think it's a pretty good idea and it might work. Sports is not something I'm very in to, I'm more about government relations, war, etc. There's a chance that you'll see me participating, though. We just need Silvado's opinion I suppose.

I know not alot of people would get involved but you can just create your own team stadium and your pretty much done. Maybe once in a year we can play like an International Nations World Cup or something.

Maybe the Olympic games, or the IN equivilant could be held in a chosen nation every 4 months? What with all the controvesy with the Beijing Olympics the IN version could become very political and still being a monthly sporting event at the same time.
I think that small things like this might catch the intrest of new members.

Why not start by each nation creating a team and a mascot etc. and then make a fantasy-like deal to decide who won...perhaps choosing a real team and, based on their success is your own success...perhaps

The CIW Honor Division is the counterpart to the Dutch Eredivisie (I translated it directly)
FC Karadas (note this is the club of the capital). Mascot would be the Kardas Dragon (See stats thread) and it's probably based off of FC Hereveen
