- The old country of Voland was a Communist power. General Gaunt, of the Voland Marine Corps. led on a coup on the government. He was succesful in this coup and named himself the Emperor of the country. He then also renamed it, New Voland. He believed that he should be obeyed but he wanted his country to be a happy place so he tries his best to maintain good civil rights. Political freedoms are completely non-existant though and his word still goes. The people are generally satisfied with the country so not one civil war has occured in it's long history. The current Emperor, or Lord, is Yarrick. He follows the ways of Gaunt and so is a benevolent Dictator.
The military of New Voland is almighty, known for it's strength and incredible leadership. They are known throughout the world for the high quality of it's armored vehicles and tanks. New Voland is also credited for rarely having an incompetent leader for some reason. Some say it's a coincidence, while others say that this can be traced back to the beginning of man in the area of New Voland.
