A little note- The names of leaders/figures are not that important but I might use them in the RPG.
History-
At first Silvan-Silvado was split up in two countries. However recently (1995) The Silvanese attacked the Silvadians in attempt for superiority. The Silvanese relentlessly over ran the cities of Riverland and San Martin, but the Silvadians refused to let go of Winter Hollow. The Silvadians made a last ditch effort and threw all military forces at San Martin and recaptured the city. Shortly after the Silvanese government crumbled due to poor leadership and the Silvadians quickly gain control of both nations. Despite The Great War, the Silvanese were rather happy to let the Silvadians take over. At this time, Quinn Montego and Milo Stannislav became war heros who would later lead the country.
The young rapidly growing nation became active in the International Regions shortly after The Unification. However in mid 2007 the nation faced disaster and was flung into a depression. The government then ceased to exsist. Vice President Milo Stannislav took the military and many wealthy citizens and left in hopes of re-establishing the nation.
PRESENT DAY-
The people with the vice president returned and the country was reclaimed. After a short term war against The Mercenaries, the Silvadian military sustained a heavy blow due to a nuclear weapon. The military is now 1/3 understrength, but growing. A group of Silvanese Nationalists have captured the city of Portshire. Military actions have taken place. After a decisive campaign the S.A.F with the help of CIW, Kazzerland, Republicas Gloria, Teivostan, and Aegypto; the rebellion was crushed.
Military Structure
Important Military Figures of Silvado Armed Forces (S.A.F)-
Warren Goldman- Supreme Lord General (Head of S.A.F)
Jack Hidemen- Lord Admiral of the Silvado Navy
Arnold Zardinsky- Lord General of Silvado Airforce
Irving H. Jarold- Lord General of Silvado Army
Captain Flint LeGuin- Leader of 57th Airborne
Information-
The Lord Generals and Lord Admiral form a council in times of conflict. They work together to coordinate attacks and defenses. All of their plans are overseen by the Supreme Lord General. The infantry are higly mobilized, yet small in numbers. They depend on both APCs and helicopters to transport them back and forth on the battlefield. The armoured divisons are deployed with C-17 transports and LST landing craft. The Airforce is the largest branch of the S.A.F. The pilots are highly trained and constantly practicing their combat skills. In battle they will fly dozens of sorties in a week, giving the ground and or sea forces almost constant air cover. The normal military strategies are much like blitzkriegs and the special forces are heavly used compared to normal infantry/ armoured forces.
Task Force Condor (TFC)- A new platoon that specializes in hunting terrorists and taking out military installations. TFC troops use G3-SG1, IMI Tavor TAR-21 Assault Rifle, and AUG SR. Specialized troops use LAW Anti-tank rocket launcher (with MP5), or SVD (with MP5). Soldiers from the infantry divisions (mainly the 57th Airborne) are chosen by TFC officers and then the canidates must go through a 6-7 month training program in the Northern Mountains, which will take the canidates to, if not past the mental and phsyical limits.
Presidential Guard- Even more elite than the Task Force Condor. They are the personnal body guards for the President, Vice President, and any foreign leaders who visit the country.

He has the power to appoint advisors, court justices, and has the power to remove mayors. The Mayors serve 3 year terms and can run as many times as the wish. The High Court is made up of three justices, who are appointed by the president or the mayors.
Silvado is a Semi-Socialist/Semi Capitalist nation. Silvado trades mainly weapons but the also import and export: Silvanese yachts, alcoholic beverages (Silvanese Whiskey is known for its excellence), Oil, Cattle, Steel, Furs, Coal, Cars, Wood, and Corn.
Geography-
Silvan Silvado is a coastal nation. Many small towns dot the coast line, which is why sailing is a popular activity. The Western inland area is dominated by desert. The residents there constantly face water shortages. The Eastern side is filled with lush forests and small foot hills. However, deforestation is a growing problem. The Northern border is the home of the Northern Silvadian Mountain range. The range acts as a nice defensive wall for the majority of that border. Lakes and Rivers are common on the East side of the nation.
Culture-
Music, hiking, and sailing are the oldest traditions Silvadians have. The Silvanese Yachts are among the best made yachts in the International Nations Region. In the Silvadian society those traditions are among the most important things they can have. The people are artistic, and fond of nature. The family is also very important. Each family has an annual reunion, which is a huge event for every Silvadian.
