here r your rules, auto. You've posted them on the alliance thread.... * You cant destroy a whole nation or a whole city in one day. * You have to loose at some things some times, you can't always win. * Your millitary is not a unlimited size. * No putting a sheild or anything like that around a nation or city so it can't be destroyed. * Make some disatsters happen to your nation, no nation is perfect or nothing bad happens to it. * Don't go to war with another nation all the time or for no reason, think about the war between Debro, me ect. it built up for ages and took ages before it started. * You can't win a war or make a huge change in a war in one day, give other people a little time to act too. * Use common sense, don't go over the top about anything really, think about what it would be like in a real country i suggest to use these as directives for the RPG-chief, who will oversee the whole RPG. Looks good. Anyone else besides me RP anyplace else out side of this site? (ex. TES Forums, NS forums, etc.?) I will volunteer to over see, but I think my timezone is a tad off from the majority here. If there is anyone with RPing experience and not willing to volunteer then I'll give it a spin.

We don't need a RPG cheif, all nations can read the guidelines and there we go and if something happens then nations can tell that nation to stop. several ppl supported the idea of an rpg-chief....in fact i was waitin for Nibu's feedback, since he was the one who had trouble with the whole rpg. I don't really care (since i'm fine with the current system, too) , but i think it would be good to have an independent "chief" to prevent further debates. (and yeah, Silvado could do that. I don't think that the time zone can be a problem (i'm in central Europe) the only requirement is: be an active member of the forum) So, my opinion is that we'll have to pin the first three "golden rule" (since they're short and simple) along with your guidlines in a separete thread, and choose an overseer(Silvado, or somebody else who can be independent)

Ok looks like Im the RPG Chief now (Any objections please speak now). I'll get too work
Im just reposting Debro's list of rules and elaborating on a few things. * You cant destroy a whole nation or a whole city in one day. * You have to loose at some things some times, you can't always win. (Always try to report losses on your side) * Your millitary is not a unlimited size. (Give them atleast 3-5 days to reply) * Use common sense, don't go over the top about anything really, think about what it would be like in a real country (Also in terms of war think about logistics/supplies. Can't wage a war with out ammo, transportation, and fuel)

Well, I thought i'd go by NS, and I had a high 'ratio of plice to citizens' and the fact my nations does Arms Manufacturing.
But it appears that NS has no place in RPG

As I said we don't have to worry about ratios too much (I'll edit that out I guess)
As long as its not like "I sent 500,000,000 troops into your country right now" its fine

Yeah. It's kind of hard to send that many people at one time. and plus many wars in real life were fought with less than 500,000 troops from either side.

Eh, all right, but wait, (as this thread concerns trouble with RPG I'm posting this here), if a person goes away on holiday (like summer holidays are approaching quickly where I live, and we'll be gone for about 6 weeks), what if their country then gets involved in a war or something like that?

I doubt we'll declare war on people who're not around.
