Well, a standard new nation, with 5 million population would receive almost noting. That means, new nations wouldn't involve in the rpg....I say we should leave the population out of this. I agree, and did you see my idea? Is that good? Nothing to do with Nationstate size, and a reasonable system.

How about everyday you get taxes. Certain regions of the world will be "rich regions" (Which would be the middle of the map) while the other areas (north and south of that region) is not as rich due to it being richer in everything, but because of the extreme conditions the world is more prone to natural disasters there while the north and south have 3/4 of the income but the risk of natural disasters is 1/4 left. To make taxes you get all "infrastructure levels". Every region starts at level 1 except your capital region which has 3. To upgrade them is to pay half of the level, every level yields #billion USD. So a level 1 place is 1 billion, so upgrading would cost 500 million. Then each nation will need to make a resonable price for what they would buy (like weapons). The rich region would get a increase but would be forced to have natural disasters happen more often by the rpg chief. Please explain this a little bit more cause I'm kinda interested in the idea of forcing natural disasters happening, however population I believe should still have some factor because of the fact it assures everyone has a different amount of money. And to remind everyone we would also have to figure out a time in which you get money, like say you make an average of 5 billion USD in a year, we would have to decide if a day would be a full year or should 3 days be a year or what.

I was thinking on time thing too, and the distasters is when the RPG cheif says, time for people to die, and a disaster happened unless a disaster has already happened within the same week for the rich region, and 2 weeks for the north and south (ingame weeks) Maybe have the rpg chief choose who works there (rich, middle class, poor) and the nation can set their tax rate? But in return a very high tax rate will cause a riot,
0%-20; no riot
20-50%; A riot every month 50%-80%; A riot every week 90%-100%: a riot every other day
unless the majority of the nation supports communism then no riot for 100% but riot once a month if its 99% or under.

Orginally I was just using the Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, Cold War map system for income (Tribute they call it). The rich land stuff and disasters were just thrown in there for fun.

Lol, well we can actually trade but it would start out being with just weapons and nothing else for awhile, we might go farther later on. And I'm angry cause I can't find my game of rise of nations.

Lol the base CD? Do you have the expansions but lost the base game? Or just the base game itself? My example was of a thing from the expansion but the rare resources idea could be used from RON the base for this.

RON didn't come with 2 cds unless you didn't buy it when it was first released or whatever. All of my RON stuff have their own CD and no more.
