A new dawn breaks, citizens of Numnar rejoice, our righteous march towards our birthright progresses well. I am pleased to announce that today the Numnar foreign legion secured a great victory against the benighted heathens of the new world. As you should all know an expedition has been sent to bring the poor unfortunates of the new world into the protective embrace that is the Union of Numnar. They being enraptured of their false gods and foolish ideology resisted, and so a great mass of native warriors marched on the foreign legion's base. A great battle was fought with our brave soldiers being outnumbered more then ten to one, however the bravery of the natives was no match for the martial spirit of our forces and so they were driven back with many dead. Commander Eglin of the Foreign Legion had this to say "Our foes have proved themselves to be brave and forceful in the attack, they will be an asset to the people of Numnar when they have been shown the error of their current ways."

-The Numnar Foreign Legion has founded a small base with an airstrip overlooking a sheltered natural harbor.
-An engagement was fought between the Foreign Legion and a large group of natives (679 vs 10,000-15,000 natives) in which the natives were beaten back (Legionares 3 dead, 39 wounded, natives ~7900 dead, ?wounded)
