Why don't we wait till the constitution is voted on before talking about elected someone. And see if anyone wants to run...

This position would be made invalid. It would be kind of interesting to have an illegal Head of Defence but pointless. |

Yea, we will need to elected someone once the constitution is put into play, and that should be fairly soon.
