I know this topic died down, but it's crossed my mind again. Maybe making a new region at this point wouldn't be a bad idea. Look at this;

And these are our active people... I know i've been less active due to others being less active... I only go on once a day instade of 3 or 4 times... I really think it's our best bet... what do you guys think?...

I don't think it "complicate things" It just be a few people leaving the region, ten at most, going to another region to start fresh. The most active time in a region is at the birth of it, in this region that may not be the case, but for most it is. This idea has allot to do with my activeness too, It may sound power hungry, and maybe it is, but I work allot harder for a region I've founded. If and this is a BIG IF, I left to create another region, I'd probly use the same or similar constitution and I'd be more than happy to be allies with International Nations. I most likely won’t bother if I don’t get any support on this issue, but the region is dying, we can all see that.

Look, if you form another region, you got 10 nations as you said. You have that ten (somewhat active) nations here too.You want more there, you must recruit.You can do it here too.
Maybe you're right, more activeness at the birth. Then the next region will become inactive after the initial happiness? In this case, the whole thing is pointless. You would have the same problems in,say, 3 months.
dying-a bit strong word..but in this case, don't you like challenges...?

I may not have the same issue within 3 month, each region varys for when inactiveness hits, I have had a region go over 120 nations and live on well pass my time. It's really the luck of the draw.
Anyways I don't think I will, atleast not for a long while, I got alot of other things going on, not enough for me to be inactive here, but enough to make it too hard to start up a region. I plan on doing some recruiting soon, hopefully enough to give it a 20 nation boost like when I first joined.

good to hear that! When you go out to recruit, plz post the tg&directions in the recruitment area,i'll help if i can and you need it.
um, just an idea, but i think it fits in the "shaking things up" thread ... how about to have a journalist, who would write articles about the happenings on the forum and post it on the RMB from time to time?

Well in one of my old regions we had some people have like newspapers, like "The Nibu Weekly" and it be about what was going on in the region that week, some were just RPG. Mind you their was more of a need for it in a region with over 100 nations, but we could do something like that here.

No offence, but you havn't been on over a week, I don't think your really cut out to be a founder. It's not your a bad founder, just your fairly inactive and offen ramber on about Penguins then actually get anything done. When I was talking about a new region I ment i'd found it and anyone who wanted to come could.

Well i was not on for a week because i was away for a trip with my school. I said i would be away!!! I go on about penguins because it is fun  Now i am serious if you keep on going on saying I am a bad founder and you founding a new region someone else will be the UN Delegate, you are not the founder and never will be! I am pretty acitve you know i look at the forum alot. Alot of the people in the region are inactive but they are not on the forum, the people on the forum are very active. Mabey all we need is more recruitment and when our numbers are up we can really start making this region great. I mean if you talk one more time about you founding a new region or me being a inactive or bad founder you will not be the UN Delegate because everyone would wan't a UN Delegate that is toatally dedicated to the region. |

I am dedicated to the region or I'd be gone by now, and part of that dedication is disapproval of you as founder. I hardly think your in any position to threaten me, You piss me off and you can say bye bye to the forum and any recruitment help from me.

lest not fall out people, that will just make things worst. I think the region is just going through a dry spell. bear in mind that at this time of year the exams are coming up (well they are over here at last) so people are studying, taking field trips etc. I think it will pick up, especially when the summer comes and people are off work/school/uni or whatever then it will probably pick up.
Alos if we do more things- such as this journalist thing, then perhaps we would get more active and maybe evan attract more nations.
I must admit that refounding the region would be sensible if the nation did not pick up again, but i seriously don't see that happening anytime soon at least. But if worst came to worst i would probably be willing to refound theregion depending on the circumstances of course
i think we need to just give it time and create some interesting activities for nations to get interested and involved in.
