Is it the children's train?
And yeah, we'll keep everything in shape. That is, right up until Wednesday morning when Deutsch suddenly finds the need to rule alone, and offs me to become 'consul for life'.
Yeah, I know your game, Deutsch.

Ah, back in the game now. To be honest, i was a bit frightened, and thought there was a revolution or something(looks like the forum needs the www now ;D )
p.s.: no, it was one of the MÁV trains, and the whole "travel" was very disturbing....hell, next time when i travel within hungary, the car will be my only option....

HAHAHAHA!
I presume from the title they are nationalized? If they at least manage to stay on the track they are better than ours, which are privatized and bloody dangerous.

Nope, they were nationalized. The name is just nostalgia...

Ah, I see. Were they any better when nationalized?
Doesn't the Copenhagen criteria force all countries coming into the EU to de-nationalize everything to bring them closer to a free market? I'm sure I read that somewhere, but since the end college my notes have been deeply neglected. There's like an entire corner of a room taken up with paper. I'm afraid to go near it for avalanche.

No doubt. I don't know why, but nowadays, it isn't working properly at all.Better equipment, but the management is....argh. After ten years, they've realized that they should give tickets from location to location(A to B). This way, they can decide which trains are necessary, which not, etc. The issue were discussed in newspapers, etc, but they've needed ten years....
I believe there was something like that, but in most of the post-communist countries, it was a main priority anyways. And the whole procedure was accompanied with corruption.
