A Traveller's Guide To Archaix Archaix is a country of extremes. From the impoverished West to the opulent East, the landmass transcends definite classification. There are, on the one hand, the humbling heights of the Sarna Mountain Range in the north that shield the ancient city of Honeton. Below that, the Great Plains morph into dire swamplands, with the Toga River acting as a natural border to the vast grasslands that house Laertium and the eponymous capital, Archaot. To the west of these are the broad forests and mythical uplands home to wizened country folk. And, in the far east, lies the distant shores of Krayrel Island, a famous island renowned for its natural resources and port. The port, Krayrel City, serves as a docking point for trade that passes through the strait, garnering a good deal of money for Archaix. The nation has been led for the last seventeen years by the Popular Left government, made up by a coalition of liberals, socialists and greens. Before this point the nation was racked by civil war, only brought to heel by a rising internationalism that superseded petty regionalism. The economy, once growing, has suffered somewhat from the recent War, and the subsequent removal of many resources to Neo Nibu. However, aid from Alliance states and the restoration of peace may improve the lot of the Archaixian people. For a complete information pack on vacations to Archaix, please visit our website

Mr. Kazincbarcika(veteran of the war in DG) just visited Krayrel City. He said he wants cheaper Mojitos, and those heavy artillery guns near the souvenir shop are too loud.

Mr. Kazincbarcika(veteran of the war in DG) just visited Krayrel City. He said he wants cheaper Mojitos, and those heavy artillery guns near the souvenir shop are too loud. The Tourist Office advises a more serene location for sir, and suggests perhaps the tranquil city of Honeton, to the north? And the national mood is for Brass Monkeys*, not Mojitos. Thank you all for your kind words. *If only for the name.

:ARCHAIX NEWS: ELECTION RESULTS Socialist: 7 Conservative: 6 Social Democratic: 3 Green: 3 Other: 0 Once again the socialists have secured an election victory by winning seven of the nineteen counties that constitute Archaix. Political commentators attribute the ruling party's success to the targeting of the five major cities during the election campaign, although only four came under red control. But it was the Conservative Party that gained the most, leaping from three counties to six this year, becoming the second largest party. The devastation the occupation of Nibuan forces caused last month has been blamed for right-wing mini-victory, as it was the south that suffered most. The Greens have lost out on a potential opportunity in the centre of the country and has lost a key stronghold, Honeton, which is now red. But it was the Social Demorats that suffered the most, despite gaining the city of Archaot. Krayrel Island is still under yellow control, apart from the city itself. A stake in the Great Plains has suffered, but not evaporated. The current Prime Minister has stepped down, to be succeeded by Adam Ellis, a former trade union leader.
