Flag: The hammer symbolizes industry, the sickle symbolizes argricultre, the colour blue symbolizes the sea which splits the Northern and Sothern lands and the Red cross/bow symbolizes how Socialism binds the two lands.
Capital Cities:
Northern Lands: Woksom
Southern Lands: Peking
Currency: The Marx
Government: Liberal Democratic Socialist
Population: 1.982 billion
Language: Russian and Mandarin Chinese
National Religion: None
Founder: Comrade Vladimir Zedong
Upcomming National Electoral Candidates:
United Socialist Party of Teivostan: Alexander Gorbachev
Green Party: Mikhail Sergeyev
Communist Party: Ehuang Fang
Current Leader: Comrade Kevin van Dam
Comrade van Dam was elected with an 85% majority of the vote, however as his term as leader progressed opossing political parties decided it would be best if he stayed in power until he saw fit. As soon as he gained power he begun a massive military recruitment campaign bringing the military population from 100 million to 250 million in a very short amount of time, at the same time he invested huge amounts of money into military research. Most funds were concentrated on air and ground forces with naval forces being a bit neglected although when tensions arose between Teivostan and Aegypto, Comrade van Dam noticed that if the CIW intervened Teivostans coasts would be nearly defensive against the might of their superiour naval vessels. Because of that he decided that the navy would be his top priority.
While the military was being improved, Comrade van Dam decided to build up the economy at the same time. Polution filled factories and nuclear power plants were replacing slower, enviromentaly friendly factories and sources of energy although Teivostan was forced to use green technology again after strong international opposition to the amount of polution being made.
In what seems to be the end of his term as leader, Comrade van Dam is taking a more liberal aproach to national and international issue's, he is also making an effort in trying to see an arguement from his enemie's point of view before taking action.
Culture:
Teivostan has two very different cultures.
The Northern Lands of Teivostan has many large cities with beautiful Russian style architecture. The capital of the Northern lands, Woksom, is situated on the southern coast of the Northern Lands with the fantasticaly decorated Red Bear Palace on top of a steep hill overlooking a large plateau holding the statues of Socialist Teivostan's founder and Communist Automaticz' founder crossing a hammer and sickle. The view from the Red Bear Palace is amazing, one can see the Red Square from the top and watch the daily formation marches held, one can look out to sea to watch boat races and witness gigantic cargo ships and ferries from the Southern lands dock at the ports.
The cities of the Southern lands of Teivostan are built in chinese architectural style. The capital of Southern Teivostan, Peking, is situated on the Northern coast of the Southern lands. Magnificent porcelain towers are placed throughout the major cities in southern Teivostan and cultural parades with chinese dragons are held monthly. The Red Dragon Palace is situated in Peking where the Teivost leader resides when visiting, like the Red Bear Palace in Woksom the Red Dragon Palace is on a hill overlooking a plateau of our leader and has a great view of the sea. Both Palaces are built in a specific place so it's possible to see one palace from the other using binoculars.
The people of Teivostan are extremely proud of their country and what socialism has brought them, they are a patriotic people but will always try to see an arguement from their oppositions perspective. The military plays a large part in Teivost culture, if one is to visit a populated area in Teivostan you'll be sure to see a military parade.

Geography:
The Siberian Desert is situated to the North of these land where temperatures can rise to 70 degrees celcious during the day. The only reason anyone ever goes there is to drain the land of the precious oil fields there. Further southwards the heat gets less intense with dense forestry growing on the mountaines and hills which seperate the desert from the lush, green plains of the central-southern part of the Northern Lands. Farming these fertile lands is a populour method to make a living and wind turbines are spread across the land. The closer one get's to a city the more industrialised it gets, gigantic factories and recycling plants are built on the outscirts but if you actually enter the city you'll find tree rimmed boulavards, old architecture and a large green park in every city centre with a red square where daily marches take place. The coasts of both the Southern and Northern lands are hilly and windy resulting in a large amount of wind turbines being built just of the coast. Fishing is populour and small, windowed submarines are used give tourists the chance to witness the rich aquatic life the coast of Teivostan has to offer.
The Central-Northern plains of the Southern Lands are as fertile as the Northern Land's but further southwards huge mountain ranges spring up where Teivostan get's most of it's stones and metals from.
