As you have all probably seen in the Candidacy thread, I am running for the position of Head of International Relations. I believe that there are quite a few things that make me a highly electable and good candidate for this important position.
1. I am active. I have visited these forums AT LEAST once every single day since my return. Not only have I visited every day, but I have posted at least once every single day.
2. I am trustworthy. I have never lied to the people of this region, and I always delivered the truth when I served in the IN Government before.
3. I have experience. I have been with this region since early August of 2007. I did have about 2 months of inactivity, but still that is a significant portion of time devoted to this region. Not only have I devoted much time to this region, but I have served in several positions in IN's Government. I was Deputy Head of Defense, followed by Head of Defense, RPG Chief and Head of Recruitment.
4. I will give it my all when it comes to improving Relations. I swear that I will make my best effort to set up good relations with strong regions and weak regions alike. I swear that I will funnel all needed information to our region's senate and to the Head of Defense. Not a single bit of important information will go unknown if I am to take office. I was a vital spy for this region in the past, and my gathered information prevented a regional crisis! I even helped with, and authorized the founding of this region's Intelligence Agency.
5. I plan to open up a diplomacy department. Senators of IN (Citizens of IN who are registered on the forums) will have the opportunity to become a diplomat, and you will be posted where I see fit. A short, yet effective training program for all Diplomats will most likely be in order.
6. In the position of Head of Defense, I made a few mistakes since I was relatively new to the position. BUT that is a positive because I have learned from these mistakes quite well. You can count on me to make well thought-out decisions as I have learned what is wrong and what is right from my previous mistakes.
7. I am open to ideas and opinions. If anyone has any questions or ideas you may openly state them and they will be happily accepted. And I can assure you, that they will be greatly considered and influential.
There may be more reasons, but I believe that these are the 7 most important things to consider when choosing who you will vote for the position of HoIR.
Thank you for your time, and remember that the voting opens on May 5th!
