Government
The Chairman rules everything, he has the final say in everything, he has a Parliament called the Peoples Assembly, but the 50 members are more like his personal advisor's, they server a 4 year term after which the Chairman can choose to keep them in their position or remove them.
The Government Controls ALL, there is only one Political Party, the Communist Party. It is seen as an honour to become a member and it is very tough to do so, High Ranking Military, Police and ALL Government members MUST be members of the Communist Party.
EVERYTHING is owned by the State.
Jobs
Everyone is assigned a Job, this allows the country to progress quite well as there is always a near perfect amount of Farmers, Factory Workers ect. The only way to get out of your assigned job is to join the Army, however the Government has the power to regulate Military numbers, which is rarely done but stops everyone becoming a Military Member and the Factories being empty. You can apply for a different job if you can prove that you would be more productive in that job.
EVERYONE gets the same Pay, High ranking Government Members and High Ranking Military Members do get their working travel and excess costs funded by the State, e.g they are likley to have to travel a lot in work so that is paid for.
Education
Eduction is free until the age of 14. Then all pupils sit a National Test, if they are pretty smart and get excellent marks then the Government may send them to a National University to receive further education paid for by the state, they will then get a job that requires more intelligence than a simple factory worker (a scientist or doctor for example) If they do not get sent to a State Univesity they help their parents or apply to the state for a small job until they are 18 and are assigned a job.
Military
Probably the Largest in the region if you count conscripts, all adults are conscripts (only if they have to disability and until they are 50)
They receive 2 years of Military Service and then 2 top up training weeks a year, they are unlikely to be called up to duty unless there is a very large war. It is seen to be an honour to be in the actual Army, the training is very tough, people are brought up to believe that being in the Military and serving your people is a great honour to you and your family.
Freedoms
Foreign View: NO Freedoms, the Police are Heavy Handed and the Secret Police are everywhere, all media is controlled by the State and if you speak out against the Government you are taken away. Propaganda is everywhere, so much so that the people are brainwashed. Foreigners are constantly followed and normal citizens who show the slightest hint of being against the State are often watched. No elections
State View: The Revolution is ultimately great for the people, they are free from capitalistic chains, speaking against the Revolution is frowned upon because we know that Communism is for the people and it could easily be damaged. There are no elections because the Communist Party is only there to serve the people, any member of the Communist Party can be trusted.
