Now these are the ranks, high ranks can promote anyone but it must be discussed between the high ranks if someone is to be promoted to a high rank, please post here when you first join and we will give you a rank mostly based on how long you have been in the region, and ns. If you ask to be promoted it will only lower your chance of getting one. You must respect the views of ALL ranks and respect higher ranks (you only have to respect them in the millitary board and millitary discussions) the high ranks have the option to be called sir ect. but you do not have to call them that unless the say so If a higher rank commands you to do something in a invasion or defence you must do so unless told to do different by a higher rank

Basicly in charge of the ranks below, a maj general would usually be given a task of invading a other region, given by the high ranks, and a brigader would be the sort of 2nd in command of invading that region, the maj gerneral would chose a brigader and a few nations from the other ranks while the high ranks basicly supervise and the high ranks can sometimes manage the invasion of a region.

I'm pretty sure that Kardas will need to give you a rank. And since Kardas is the Head of Defense and I'm the deputy wouldn't that make me a Field Marshal? (That's a question for Kardas)

Don't take this as official yet, as I wasn't keen on ranks yet- thus:
Kardas- Head Of Defense
Kazzerland- Field Marshal
Ironwolves- Major General

I'll update this post some other time when I figured out the rest. I think we have too much ranks right now though, as, let's face it- the IN military is small.

EDIT- Because we are small, we could also change the rank system- this here is from Stratego, slightly modified (some ranks there taken out, like Miner, Scout, Spy, Bomb and Flag)

EXECUTIVE RANKS
- Head of Defense: the highest ranking post in the military
- Marshal: Held by the Deputy HoD, otherwise not used much
- General: Held by ex-HoDs

- Colonel: Held by ex- Deputy HoDs. Can also be gained by participating in 5 or more military activities, like invasions, defenses, liberations or having spies
EXPERIENCE RANKS
- Major: has participated in 4 military activities, like invasions, defenses, liberations or having spies
- Captain: has participated in 3 military activities, like invasions, defenses, liberations or having spies
- Lieutenant: has participated in 2 military activities, like invasions, defenses, liberations or having spies
-Sergeant: has done something for the military, like has spies OR has participated in 1 military activity, like invasions, defenses, liberations or having spies
- Scout: hasn't done anything for the military yet
