OOC: This is the military action for the New Silvan issue. All forces are ready to attack, I assume from the last few posts, so lets have some fun.
IC:
"General Jarold, the CIW navy is in position and the Kazzerins are position. We believe Teivostan is ready as well." Lt. Gonar reported.
Jarold nodded and walked over to the nearest radio reciever.
"My men, brave men of Kazzerland, CIW, and Teivostan. We are all here to end a rebellion that has needlessly killed civilians. The people of Silvan-Silvado thank you all for what you are about to do. All forces have the green light to go in to Portshire. Remember Orange vests are rebels. Prisoners will be accepted and sent to my position. Good luck and see you when this is over." Jarold announced before putting the reciever down. He walked out of the command tent and watched as helicopters of the 57th took off towards the city. Vehicles from the 24th Armoured were leaving as well. ----
Flint Leguin, leader of the 57th Airbourne, loaded his rifle as his chopper took off.
"Alright, 1st and 2nd platoon take the two towers at the intersection of Highway B and Silvan Avenue. 3rd and 4th will take the Stadium and set up an aid station, prisoner holding area before moving out to secure the bridge. 5th platoon will land in the outside of the Central Park and move secure it after the fly boys bomb it. Good luck and twenty minutes till dust off." Flint informed through the unit radio. He turned and watched as the chopper closed in on the city.
Meanwhile Xavier Squadron had been bombing central park almost non stop for two hours. The F/A-18s dropped their payload and returned for reload. They'd go strafe the garrison and start circling the city to keep the ground forces covered.
------
Meanwhile in the city- The rebels were running about frantically. They made makeshift barricades and strong points, ready to defend their new accomplishment. Although they only had about a thousand people fighting for them, they knew the land better, and had bargaining chips- The soldiers from the garrison...
The rebel leader, Johan Requas, proudly stood on top of a technical. "Drive me to the Garrison. Also tell the men on the Southern edge to hide landmines and send another 50 men to the waterfront to hold the lines." Requas ordered.
The rebels were fighting a losing battle, but if they could hold out, this would act as a rally. Just like The Alamo...

Supreme Lord General Goldman replies, "Ahh, your forces are most welcome. The Teivo forces are advancing from the North, the Kazzerin from the South, the CIW from the East, and we are from the West. I would suggest you assist the CIW, because a beach landing is never an easy move. Thank you for your support."

The Minister replies, "Could I get a fill in on what happening? If you haven't noticed, we are the new kid on the block, would appreciate it. We shall lend our air force to help clear the beaches. We shall also send in our paratroopers, and if our navy can make it in time, they shall help too. We'll send a plane to land humvees with troops, and tanks to help once the beach has been invaded.

USSRG Wonderful, we are very grateful for your help. There were recently protests, and a peaceful movement morphed into an uprising. Being that the majority of Silvanese are fine with the Silvadian rule and the fact the rebels have caused the death of innocents and captured government property; we have resorted to military action to end this nonsnense. We expect a short operation to clean up this mess before it can spiral out of control.

Captain Reidak's squad of SpecOps forces went full speed ahead until they reached the walls of the harbor. The commandoes jumped onto the basalt, and Reidak's mind played an air-guitar. After taking over the dock building, they heard voices, and a lot of footsteps. Men with orange uniforms streamed into the docks. "Men!" whispered Reidak. "We keep quiet and ignore them till they spot us. Keep yer guns loaded so we fire the mintue we're spotted!" As the commandoes took up defensive positions, Reidak silently hoped the Navy would see the enemy... --- Colonel Maxilos just entered the amphibious craft holding his tank when the regular infantry set out. Unlike the SpecOps, the infantry was to make a beach-head. Maxilos took out his walkie-talkie and binoculars. He scanned the beach, and the harbor. "dammit," he muttered. "Think D-Day," he radioed the troops in the other boats. Maxilos' attempt to switch to the Navy frequency was briefly interrupted by another cruiser shot, but he heard Rear Admiral Midak's voice soon enough. "Colonel, what is the problem?" "I'm seeing orange-vests on the port and the beach! I don't think they're Silvadoes?!" "Silvado High-command just notified us that those are New Silvan." "Bring the battleships to shell both places, but take care not to hit the dock building!" "Sure thing!" As the journey progressed, Maxilos opened the tank hatch, and partially entered it. He looked back, and witness the flashes of light erupting from the battleships, and their subsequent explosions. All is well for now, he thought.

OOC: Im off for the night now, c ya
Republicas Gloria
There is Staging Zone X-Ray, West of the city. It has large large fields suitable for transport planes and helicopters- IF they can land on un paved areas. If you need an airfield the Riverland Airforce Base is located North of the city and the Portshire International Airport is on the cities South-Western edge, no reports if it is rebel held or not.
Kardas The forces of Republicas Gloria will be supporting your end of the invasion once the beach head is secure. Please notify them as soon as your forces have made an opening.
-----
Portshire Harbour-
The rebels darted about as the CIW battleship slavos hammered the harbour. Strong points were scattered around the beach head. Men were already dying- about twenty were killed from the slavo and another fifteen wounded. Rebels armed rocket launchers from the Garrison were moved towards various points around the suspected beach head. The first line of defense was ready. As soon as amphibious vehicles got in range, they'd face moderate rocket fire.

The USSRG ships began to enter where the CIW ships were and radioed, "Hello, this is the USSRGS Primus Orios, we are here to help. I noticed that the enemy is lining up on our future beachhead. Lining up to kill, heh. I got paratroopers who should be dropping soon, I'll drop them a bit away from our current base and have them move in and soon and they hit land. I am putting my aircraft on stand by if you need an air strike and my battleships shall help your bombardment." The Captain signaled to his radio-man to send in the paratroopers and to tell the other ships to start firing.
Planes were only 1 mile away from the harbor as they dropped their paratroopers. The paratroopers landed and began to reorganize after landing.

"General Jarold, the forces of the Republicas Gloria and the CIW have entered the combat zone." A lieutenant announced from his desk.
"Very well, have Xavier Squadron cover them." Jarold replied, "Whats the status of our boys?"
"24th just entered combat zone-met light resistance. 4 of ours KIA due to a sniper. The 57th's ETA is a few minutes..." -----
Flint calibrated his sight and got ready to rope out of the Black Hawk helicopter. The ETA was now a matter of seconds.
"Alrighty show time!" He shouted, "GO! GO! Go!"
The soldiers roped out on to their target building. Small arms fire opened up and on Silvadian was hit, losing grip and falling to the street below... Flint was enraged. He roped down and hit the roof hard. He got up and led the team down...Towards the enemy. ---- Portshire Beach head-
The Republicas Gloria and CIW units had arrived, out numbering the beach head forces greatly. The rebels with rockets opened fire as the CIW units approached. Many rebels had died from the slavos, and a building had been mysteriously clear- Special forces were probably lurking about... But the rebels were determined to hold off for a little bit longer so their comrades could place mines about the area...

OOC: Hey Silvado, can I have some of those Aegypto Mercs/Terrorists enter the battle to help the rebels so the battle can liven a little longer?
*At a Mercenary Post in an Unknown Tropical Island*
Mercenary: Cut that Radio, I don't want to listen to that Teivo Propaganda Crap. D@mn Pinkos and there Brain-Washing.
*One of the Mercs cuts off the Radio, all of a sudden just before he would a Radio Interrupted of a News Brief*
Radio Broadcaster: This is Z82.3 for your island music here in this area of Tropics, we just got confirmation that the Silvadians are beating the Silvanese they are advancing deeper into the Rebels territory and ensuring that they will win in a matter of hours! In other news-
*The Mercenary cuts off the music as another terrorist drops off a Crate with a Signage Document on it*
Mercenary: How sad, another people opressing another one like they're garbage. Those people deserve freedom and rights. *Starts reading the Signage* Let's see here on this document, hmm two Chemical Bombs from the Anti-Penguinists for bombing the capital.... Denied, I don't want any intervention with those idiots for now on.
Mercenary 2: Don't you think we should help those Rebels? The Coast Guard knows we're here and are trying to hunt us down, we've been moving to new islands almost every week. We have choppers and boats, I do assure we should atleast help them with Tic-Tac Tactics of Terrorism.
*The men in the covered Palm Treee house duck down as a boat of Coast Guard men search the area*
Mercenary: We have at least 10 Mi-17s with us, we go into the town help the Rebels, if we still lose. Then we retreat to the choppers and boats with the rebels. I just hope they'll join our Terrorist Organization.

After the rocket launching terrorists got defeated transport planes flew near the beach and landed on the sand, leaving imprints. A ramp began to go down from the plane and when it was down, out of the shadows came humvees and light tank back up. The humvees and tanks charged any enemy still holding onto the harbor.

OOC: people please be a bit patient when posting. unfortunately, I am sleeping when most people are online. As well as that, there are two fronts at the water: the beach, (with the infantry) and the harbor (with the SpecOps)
(Reply to Republicas Goria's second-to-last post) "Admiral, we have a transmission from the Republicas Gloria regional forces!" Rear Admiral Midak picked up the phone and listened to the broadcast. -- Colonel Maxilos scanned the harbor and beach as the salvos wreaked havoc. He zoomed in, and was horrified to see Silvanese rebels lining up to sink the fleet. he grabbed for his walkie-talkie. "Halt boats! Milk in the espresso, milk in the espresso!" he then switched to the Navy Task Force frequency. "Captain, we have milk in the espresso!" -- Midak was about to put down the phone when the Bahrag's communication officer announced "The Colonel is bogged by Silvan soon-to-be rocketfire!" Midak brought the phone to his ear again, and thought. "Actually sir, bring two destroyers to cover the beach-head. We're busy levelling resistance in the port. Our infantry force is in danger of sinking, so the paratroopers would turn out a good move. Thank you for the support." -- While Captain Reidak's SpecOps forces couldn't see the salvos, they sure heard them. Unfortunately for them, the new Silvanese noticed the obvious flaw in their plan- the dock building is safe.
(current) Fire erupted in the dockbuilding, as the SpecOps grabbed their one-hand SMGs and kept their eyes open for any time that the New Silvanese forces would dwindle. Unfortunately for the six commandoes, no such time came about. Finally, it was Captain Reidak who lost it. "a**holes!" he cursed, "I'll show YOU who (salvo arrives)!" With that, he grabbed a smoke grenade, and promptly threw it over the barricade. Grabbing Private Takuta's SMG, he stood up, and jumped over the barricade. "Well" *gunshots*, said Takuta, that's the end of" *more gunshots* "Afraid so" *more gunshots*, replied Pvt. Tarakava, "peace be" *more gunshots* Suddenly the gunfire stopped. Pvt. Takuta took off his beret. Tarakava peeked over the top, and to his surprise, as a person standing in the smoke! The person promptly stepped over the barricade. It was Reidak, battered, bruised, but grinning. "Well we're done here boys," called Reidak. "Let's go." --- Although one ship of infantry had gone down, most CIW forces arrives at the beach in good condition. New Silvanese were running about, to no avail as Colonel Maxilos' tank touched Silvadian sand. The arrival of paratroopers had made the task all the easier. Soon enough, the beach was cleared. As Republicas forces made for the harbor, Maxilos received instructions to meet up at the mayor's building.

Portshire Harbor-
The majority of the rebels fled to the harbor driveway where two technicals with makeshift cannons were waiting. The foolish ones hid about the now fallen beach head, taking pot shots at the CIW forces. The casualities for the rebels had been steeply increasing.
--- Central Park-
The 57th had secured the Central Park and so far sustained eight deaths and seven wounded. Flint Leguin established a perimeter and his forces held position until the Silvadian armour could arrive. "Command this is Leguin's mob." Flint radioed, "Objective secured." ---- Staging Zone X-Ray-
"The 57th await further orders, and CIW units have hit the beach." A lieutenant announced.
Jarold nodded quietly then turned to the man, "Ask how the CIW and Republicas Gloria forces are doing."
"This is S.A.F Command to CIW and Republicas forces, whats your status?"

Suddenly a group of Mi-17 are seen over the horizon heading dropping of troops to help the rebels. The IN Mercenaries. Supplies and weapons and even a few tanks, the Mercenaries make a defense front on the harbor and make barb wire fences and mortars to fire onto the troops.
"You two! Head towards those Cargo holds! Squad 4 make a defense on that Half-Sunken Ship. Squad 9 and 10 help those Rebels over there!" says Lt. Ikara as he advances through the destroyed harbor

Captain Naveekivich scrambled around to order all planes to scramble and to begin to attack the unidentified flying aircraft. He got onto the radio and radioed Colonel Jack, "Damn it Jack you guys will be getting bombed, I can't assure your safety in those metal death traps, have all your men abandon their tanks, take out the emergency assault weapons and jackets and go and join the paratroopers. Also one more thing, lock the tank systems so that the rebels can't drive it."
Captain Naveekivich ran to get to a radio to radio to each of the paratrooper platoon commanders, "The enemy are bringing in air ordinance, it might get a bit rocky, try to charge the enemy so they if they hit you they might hit their guys, if you can, find some cover and fight from there."
The Captain told one of his radiomen get the Silvado commander on radio, and ask if I could use a cruise missile attack when needed, if we can make the rebels lose, the rebel aircraft would have no reason to come.

OCC: Just a heads up Aegypto, I want to keep this rebellion thing alittle short because a few thousand poorly trained rebels vs. a coalition of 4 nations' regular armies is pretty much a one way fight. But it will get the message across to those pesky rebels. So please PM me anything else you wish to bring in this RP. That goes for anyone else who wants to bring another thing into this issue. Thank you The Rebels at the harbor broke fleeing the last strong point, their numbers were thinning out on that front. It was looking grim until the helicopters came. However the rebels were out of the harbor and those left behind had a certain fate awaiting them. The rebels dug in at a parking garage three blocks west of the harbor entrance. Rebels from the north were moving to re-enforce. ---- Skies above Portshire. "Xavier and Gunslinger Squadrons! Unknown choppers approaching combat zone!" Command radioed, "Make a flyby!" The two squadrons turned and blasted towards the approaching helicopters, flying past to identify the new comers. "Approaching helicopters please leave this area, it is restricted airspace!" Xavier Lead radioed once. The planes flew past and turned around to make another pass. "Land at area 2367 and await Silvadian ground forces to meet you and sort this out." Xavier Lead added.
