We're going to go down to his house tomorrow to rescue his dog. Apparently if the reservoir burst while we're down there, we can expect to see a five foot wave coming to meet us, and that's even if the brook that separates the lower half from the upper half of the town is low enough to cross. So yeah, need the karma.

No, police have the area on lockdown until the reservoir* is drained to at least half capacity. I think his dad may have gone down and got it yesterday night.
* The media keep calling it 'Ulley Dam' instead of 'Ulley Reservoir' like we do, because it's a dell that's been dammed up at one side to create a reservoir, and it's the dam that will burst. I think it's just for the image of the thing, so that they make it look as though a great massive hydroelectric dam is threatening the area.

The funny/tragic thing is, the water they're draining from the dam has all gone down to a place called Catcliffe, which is now under at least five feet of water.

The only one I've heard of is Killswitch, but I'm not a fan. The rest of continental bands that have never made it in the UK. :/ Shame, really, since there's bound to be a lot of talent. European bands rarely make it if they don't sing in English (an exception is the German band Rammstein).

Archaix: yeah, the artists on the right of the flyer are generally in the "disco scene".... The real music was in the "Fürdőkert" means "bath garden"...however this was a small festival, mainly with hungarian artists. And wasn't as good as i expected. Not to mention the headache on the day ater ;D A funny moment: *outside of the "metal tent". Inside, an awful local band plays trash metal* *recognizing a distant friend of mine* Debro: "eeeey, good to see you, wussup? *sarcastic voice* What's your opinion about this band....?Come to the Drum&Bass tent with us!" Sütő: "My opinion? Hm, i used to be the drummer for this band for 4 days....see you in the D&B tent..." silvado: Ah, yes, the forum is almost a private chat for Archaix and me,now...
