Strange, but while i was working for the road construction company and talked with the employees, most of them preferred the old, corrupt so-called socialism over the current, corrupt so-called capitalism.

I heard a woman in Russia say that she preferred the old Stalinist era to the new plutocracy. At least people we equally poor, she said.

Yeah, that attitude is typical for most post-communist countries. The citizens are disappointed in both socialism and democracy...apathy on all levels.
